wet room or shower curtain

Shower curtains, wet and clammy, not for me, but I came across this one that I thought rather charming, and would most definitely include in my designs.

On the other hand, althought I love the simplicity of this wonderful wet room, I do love a bath, cant beat a nice deep hot one !

we’ve been cutting and snipping again

Oh how nice it is to be working magic again, turning sheets of handmade paper into these gorgeous flowers never ceases to amaze me.  This piece destined for the walls of a private home.

white or blue

they are both so gorgeous…….  dinnerware at is very best.  Such beautiful shapes, looks amazing in white, but oh no, it comes in Blue too.  Spoilt for choice.  Designed by Paulo Navone for Reichenbach.  Handmade to order in Germany, exquisite

architecture for chickens and in my favourite grey

I came across this beautiful structure today.  The simplistic layering,  I could imagine living  there myself, set in woodland by the edge of a lake.  Then I realised its for chickens, lucky them I say………

Frederik Roijé’s Bread Retreat, an architectural hen house for hens to bread and for humans to retreat.  Breed Retreat is made of wood finished with a durable grey coating and measures 260 x 260 x 180 (l x b x h) cm.  “To eliminate the estrangement from our origin respecting nature will be necessary.  Designing a special place will give nature its space. Even in urban society.”

Busy, busy, busy

Oh life has been so busy, lots to do, plans, plans and more plans……….    Designing for myself too, which is rare, love grey, always have, think I always will, so have made a start with a dark hue, and offblack painted floor boards courtesy of Farrow and Ball.  The following image I find inspiring, love the contrast between decorative traditional and sleek modernism, bringing together in a room is very appealing to my sensibilities.
