BEFORE
AFTER
finished at last !
Another project successfully completed by Inside Design Co, Tunbridge Wellls. This project took a long time to come to fruition but it’s finished at last. Set in the Derbyshire Dales its a real treasure………
This last week has been a real push, made much easier by such a friendly team helping us, always with a smile. Hours leading up to launch somewhat frantic, but it all came together in the end.
One very happy client thankfully
Here are a few last minute shots courtesy of Yao photography
More to follow when we visit again
Friday…………..
Mmmm its Friday, a day that marks the end of a weeks worth of drawing, researching, doodling, designing. These past months have been hectic, 7 day weeks and loads of deadlines to meet, this weekend is going to be all mine, time to spend time in my art studio and create for me !!
One of the most enjoyble parts of designing interiors is choosing the pieces to give spaces that certain something. Whether it be a pair of huge 6′ urns, a bronze sculpture ( stags recently!) or prized objects created by artisans and destined for huge acrylic display cases. Tin robots in a variety of colours and shapes and sizes is another appealng theme that has caught my eye recently too. Displaying mono coloured themes also, all shapes, sizes and themes all bought together by colour is another way to make a statement.
Have a good weekend everyone

Max Levy – Architect and creative genius, he creates with the elements, sun, wind and rain are are important to him, if not more than than the physical materials he uses. He knows how important space is , the interaction with form, sun and shadow, he literally paints surfaces with shadows. A genius. kvadrat clouds, unique product for interior designs
What a unique concept. One can purchase the tiles separately and form a design unique to your specific location. Easily constructed by bending and joining the shapes with special “rubber bands”. I am sure you will agree the results are amazing.
French toile – 50’s style interior design
I came across this image of a french toile. These have to be an all time classic and one of my favourite fabrics. The way this one has been used puts me in mind of Fornasetti, take a look at his website, so inspirational.
No 1 perfume – Clive Christian Interior design
well that was in interesting time………. I have just come away after champagne, delectable canapes, a tour around the world of Clive Christian and being sprayed in the worlds most expensive perfume…
The best bit though, was talking to a very witty and charming man who actually comes from Tunbridge Wells, and who like me has an insatiable appetite for design, think we shall be getting together to “cross pollinate” soon !

KARIM SADLI
These images are truly inspiring to me, the sumptous embroidery on the sleeves, an image I can draw upon when designing bespoke fabrics
Love the pleated affect of the fabric here, so architectural, structural, feels like I could do some wonderfully large paper sculptures using these forms in paper
Sneak Peak

Take a sneak peak at the latest edition of Vogue living (Australia), its crammed full of inspirational images.
Relaxed living in summer, from the beach to the city!! If only……….. Here we are amidst high winds and lashing rain, with the prospect of widespread frosts. However there is something magical, about long winter walks and coming home to a glowing fire.
We especially like the article “in vogue” Trick of the Eye” look how perspective draws you to the sculpture at the end really expands your perception of space. Great chair too, looks like a photo image of the Eifel Tower…………… love it
