Blue and turquoise
why is it when I mention blue to my clients they retreat in horror and say “oh its so cold”. Yes its a cool colour I agree but right at the moment with Christmas acoming its a real antidote to all the red and green that you see around this time of the year. But lets look at blue, its a strong confident colour, its the colour of the skies, the deepest oceans, the azure blue of the mediterranean, for this reason it brings about a calmness and tranquility and in a bedroom can aid sleep. However it can be strong and powerful, think of the crashing waves, deep thunderous moody skies. Blue mixed with red gives you a rich warmth and produces many shades to the depth of rich purple and mauve, a very spiritual colour.

lets have some sunshine
shivering here in Tunbridge Wells……….. lovely snow but the sky is gloomy and grey, we need a little warm golden sunshine to bring a smile to our interior design. Trawled through some images I liked that include that lovely shade of yellow…………………. keep warm everyone !!
