Sneak preview – latest project
Nearly there now, months and weeks of detailed work by the IDC team it’s almost complete. Just two more delivery and we are on the home run. This one has been a long haul, great to see it now taking shape. Hague Blue, such a beautiful restful colour and when mixed with all our bright highlights, the colours just zing !
This project has been keeping me busy !!
this latest project, a beautiful Georgian house completed last Friday. This has kept myself and the team at IDC extremely busy over these past months. Fabulous 18th and 19th Century oil paintings really make this space, beautiful gilt frames set against the grey walls. All the detailing, limestone floor, lighting, furniture, carpets, sculptures all carried out by us. Not only in this room, but in all the principal areas, Library, Morning Room, Bistro Bar, Restaurant and spa complex.
The image her was captured at midnight on the eve before the launch, what a feel of calm and quiet, its do difficult to believe that these past 3 weeks on site have been absolute mayhem. What a contrast !

pools on my mind
Recently our thoughts here at IDC have been on swimming pools, designing spa areas, and realising how one sites the pool is really a make or break decision, between the ordinary and the extraordingary. Here is one that is “wild” and most definitely extraordinary. The Marina Bay Sands, Sky Park, Singapore, reputed to be the worlds most expensive hotel to be built at a cost of $5 billion .
